LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST – MOBILE

The overall purpose of the job:
Reporting to the Laboratory Services Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for sample collection and testing from the comfort of clients/patients’ location as per the standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collection and processing of client samples.
• Communication of laboratory results.
• Preparation of laboratory reports.
• Grow the uptake of wellness checks, including growing Home/Office collections as per the targets.
• Drive laboratory revenue.
• Implementation of ISO 15189:2022 guidelines.
• Delivery of pharmaceutical products to clients.

Position Requirements:
• A diploma in Medical Laboratory Science.
• Must have a registration certificate from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Board.
• Demonstrated capability of riding motorcycles; with a valid riding license.
• At least two (2) years of appropriate experience in medical laboratory functions.
• Experience in implementation of ISO 15189 standard is an added advantage
• ICT competency.
