The Gates Foundation seeks an Associate Program Officer to support global efforts toward polio eradication, with a focus on Type 2 vaccine-derived polio outbreaks in Africa—particularly in the DR Congo and Lake Chad Basin.

Key Responsibilities:

Support strategy execution and coordination with global and regional polio partners.

Manage grants, consultants, and project progress tracking.

Draft reports, presentations, and strategic documents.

Conduct data analysis and support program officers in field activities.

May manage select investments independently.


Qualifications:

Master’s degree (Public Health, Management, Administration, Consulting, or related).

Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in program management, public health, or strategy implementation.

Experience with immunization, emergency response, or global health programs preferred.

Strong cross-cultural communication and coordination skills.
