QUALITY SPECIALIST (GARMENTS, TEXTILE, NARROW FABRICS)

Industry: Garment/Textile Manufacturing
Nationality: Kenyan Citizens
Age: 35 & above
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Joining: Immediate
Salary: KES 100,000 (Gross)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Diploma/degree in Textile Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or related field
- Proven QC/QA experience in garment, textile, or narrow fabrics industry
- Technical knowledge in knitting, weaving, and looming
- Experience in audits, inspections, and quality management systems
- Hands-on production experience in textile/garment manufacturing

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% adherence to product specs as per production job cards
- Oversee quality processes in knitting, weaving, and looming operations
- Conduct audits/inspections, manage non-conformities and corrective actions
- Prepare weekly shift schedules for inspectors (offs, leaves, machine allocation)
- Execute quality training calendar (at least one training per group)
- Drive closure of non-compliances from safety audits
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
