We partner with suppliers and retailers to provide working capital solutions that let MSMEs take stock now, sell, and pay later.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Lead the design and execution of collections & recovery policies, SOPs, and best practices.
• Drive the development and implementation of the end-to-end Collections & Recovery strategy in line with business growth and risk objectives.
• Oversee and be accountable for performance across short-term, unsecured, and asset-backed loan portfolios, ensuring optimal recovery.
• Champion data-driven approaches for early and late-stage collections and recovery.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing collections and recovery teams.
• Set performance targets, track results, and ensure accountability through structured performance reviews.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Credit Risk, Legal, Customer Service, and Sales) to reduce delinquency and improve collection & recovery outcomes.
• Work alongside Tech/Product teams to contribute ideas that improve and optimize automated collection flows (SMS, USSD, app, IVR, etc.)
• Provide clear, actionable reports and insights to leadership, influencing strategic decision-making and driving collections excellence.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in debt collections, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role in fintech, microfinance, or financial services.
• Strong grasp of collections & recovery laws and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead teams, inspire accountability, and deliver results.
• Strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving skills.
