Field Officer - Uasin Gishu, Kenya

Since 2006, North Star Alliance has been delivering high-quality health services to mobile populations across Africa. Through innovative public-private partnerships, we provide HIV/AIDS prevention, care, treatment, and other essential health services to truck drivers, sex workers, and the communities they interact with.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee outreach activities at the project site
- Conduct health education sessions for truckers and sex workers
- Educate, coach, and motivate peer educators/mobilizers
- Ensure achievement of outreach targets and proper documentation
- Coordinate referrals and follow-ups with service providers and partners
- Build linkages with government and partners to leverage resources
- Conduct HIV Testing and Counselling
- Prepare periodic activity reports

Qualifications
- Diploma in Social Work (Degree in Social Sciences preferred)
- At least 3 years’ experience in outreach work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- HIV Testing Services Certificate an added advantage
- Skills in mobilization, facilitation, reporting, and leadership
- Computer literacy

Position: Full-time
Reports to: Project Coordinator
Start date: Immediately
