Position: Stores Intern
Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming goods and materials.
- Ensure items are stored in the correct locations and maintain proper stock arrangement for easy retrieval.
- Support in issuing stock to departments and ensuring accurate documentation of requisitions.
- Assist in updating stock records in the inventory management system (manual or digital).
- Participate in regular stock-take, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the stores area.
- Support in monitoring stock levels and reporting low or slow-moving items.
- Ensure compliance with company policies on stock handling, safety, and security.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
