Gatsby Africa is looking for a Communications Director to lead our internal and external communications and position us as a leader in economic transformation across East Africa. You’ll play a key role in shaping our brand, influencing change, and embedding a strong culture of strategic communication across our programmes and leadership.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate directly with senior leaders and partners, oversee a talented international team, and lead innovative strategies that amplify our mission, impact, and learning.

What You’ll Bring:
- Proven track record in leading high-impact communications strategies across Africa and globally
- Strong experience advising leadership and boards on brand positioning and influence
- Expertise in stakeholder engagement, media relations, internal comms, and thought leadership
- Exceptional leadership skills and experience building inclusive, cross-cultural teams
- A strategic mindset and strong writing ability to shape clear, credible, and compelling content
