Our client is a leading importer as well as local manufacturer and assembler of high end furniture solutions for both corporate and domestic facilities. They have retained our services to support hiring process for the positions listed below
Workshop & site Supervisor
This is a technical supervisor role requiring an experienced hands-on technician with general experience that includes welding and carpentry.
The workshop & site supervisor will have leadership oversight that includes team leadership, work coordination, safety enforcement and shopfloor cleanliness.
key Qualifications and experience
1. Technical qualification in either carpentry, joinery or welding
2. Hands on experience at least 3 years in a busy workshop environment
3. Ability to lead and coordinate team to achieve targets
Upholstery & General Works Technician
The upholstery technician will handle basic upholstery tasks such as chair repairs and stitching, along with general support duties in the warehouse when upholstery work is not required. The ideal candidate should be able to stitch straight lines accurately, work with basic tools, and assist in day-to-day operations.
Key Qualifications and experience
1. Basic qualification/ experience in upholstery
2. Ability to stitch straight lines and handle fabric accurately.
3. Basic understanding of materials like foam, fabric, and wood
Furniture Assembly Technician
The furniture assembly technician will be responsible for assembling, installing, and inspecting office furniture at client sites or company facilities. This role requires aptitude and experience in assembling furniture or related carpentry responsibilities.
Key Qualifications and experience
1. Technical qualification in carpentry, joinery and/ or welding
2. Minimum 2 years experience assembling furniture and related products
3. Basic experience and ability to use assembly tools
Basic Wood work Technician
This role requires a technician comfortable working with hand tools and small power tools to carry out furniture-related work, fittings, and minor repairs. Perform basic carpentry tasks such as cutting, fitting, and assembling wooden components.
Key Qualifications & experience
• Certificate qualification in carpentry and/or joinery
• 2 years workshop experience
