We’re Hiring: Account Manager
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview
As an Account Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction, retention, and growth. You'll be responsible for identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, managing renewals, and driving business development initiatives that enhance customer value and increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive engagement and support

Sales & Business Development
Identify and close upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
Drive renewals and negotiate contract terms to align with company objectives
Prepare and execute strategic account plans to meet revenue targets

Product & Solutions Advocacy
Conduct product demonstrations and solution presentations for clients and prospects
Articulate the value proposition of Craft Silicon’s solutions clearly and persuasively
Stay informed about product updates, industry trends, and competitors
Internal Collaboration & Feedback
Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to deliver a cohesive client experience
Channel structured client feedback to product teams for continuous improvement

Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track account performance, provide regular updates to management, and forecast sales opportunities
Maintain accuracy and transparency in CRM and reporting tools

Events & Representation
Represent Craft Silicon at client events, expos, trade shows, and industry forums to strengthen visibility and partnerships

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
3–5 years of experience in account management, preferably in software, fintech, or IT services
Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and meet revenue targets
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Ability to understand client business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented
Familiarity with CRM tools and reporting platforms
