LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST - 1 POSITION
As part of our mission to expand and strengthen diagnostic services, Kisumu Specialists is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Laboratory Technologist.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Collect, label, and analyze blood, urine, and other body fluid samples.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment following established operating procedures.
• Accurately record and report test results to clinicians in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper sample handling and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
• Support in inventory management and reagent stock levels.
• Observe infection prevention and control protocols at all times.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution.
• Registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
• Minimum 2 years of post-internship experience in a busy hospital laboratory.
• Proficiency in operating automated laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO 15189 standards is an added advantage.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
