SEO & CONTENT MARKETING LEAD

Our client in the retail and education industry is looking for an experienced SEO & Content Marketing Lead to be at the forefront of next-generation retail and ecommerce SEO, including Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) This is a great opportunity for someone with a deep passion for marketing and AI. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives on delivering measurable results and driving business growth through innovative content marketing initiatives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Content Strategy & Creation
- Develop content calendars aligned with business goals and seasonal campaigns
- Create compelling content that supports SEO objectives and drives organic traffic to stores and websites
- Develop and write high-quality web content including blog posts, landing pages, and website copy
- Liaise with other departments to stay updated on new product developments and to ensure brand consistency
- Monitor website analytics and provide actionable insights for improvement

MANDATORY ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in content marketing; retail & ecommerce experience a plus
- Analytics proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Meta Business Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and execute detailed, efficient, effective and innovative content marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of how to use social media channels to meet objectives
- Ability to distill data and metrics into actionable insights that support clear recommendations
