KITCHEN MANAGER
Industry: Hospitality (4-star hotel/resort)
Nationality: Kenyan Citizens Only
Location: Mombasa, Kenya
Joining: Immediate
Package: KES 70,000 to 80,000 (Gross)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management
* 3-5 years in senior kitchen management in a 4-star hotel or resort
* Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
* Solid knowledge of budgeting, inventory, and food cost control
* Ability to perform well under pressure and resolve issues quickly
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise kitchen staff including chefs, cooks, and stewards
* Schedule team shifts and manage performance evaluations
* Coordinate with service and stores teams to ensure timely delivery and stock control
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, reduce food wastage, and optimize costs
* Maintain food quality, presentation, hygiene, and regulatory compliance
* Manage kitchen operations for events and banqueting, including prep and manpower allocation
* Collaborate with Executive Chef on menu planning, standardization, and portion control
* Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff
* Track kitchen inventory, equipment maintenance, and cost records
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and labor regulations
