Needed: Credit Risk & Compliance Analyst – Loan Verifications

📍 Location: Nairobi | Contract Role
Focus: 1-Month Cycle & Long-Term Loans

This position is looking for a sharp, diligent, and ethical Credit Risk & Compliance Analyst to join the Head Office team.

He/she will be the critical link between our branches and the Credit Committee — ensuring only well-vetted, policy-compliant loans proceed to disbursement.

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Review and verify loan applications from branches
✔ Assess borrower capacity, guarantor reliability, and collateral strength
✔ Identify credit risks and ensure regulatory compliance
✔ Maintain accurate risk registers and documentation
✔ Collaborate with branches to improve credit quality and turnaround times

Ideal Candidate:
✅ Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
✅ 3+ years of experience in credit risk or loan verification (preferably microfinance)
✅ Strong analytical and documentation skills
✅ Familiarity with loan systems (e.g., Musoni, Loan Performer) and compliance tools
✅ Proficiency in Excel and credit scoring templates
