Galana Energies Limited is a leading oil marketing company in Kenya, engaged in the import, distribution and marketing of high-quality petroleum products including Fuels, LPG and Lubricants. We also operate a nationwide network of retail service stations.

To further enrich our growing team at Galana Energies, we are currently seeking to recruit a talented, visionary and highly skilled professional for the position of Retail Development Coordinator.

About The Role
The Retail Development Coordinator is responsible for retail network expansion and optimization through identification and acquisition of potential sites for the development of new stations and implementation of company’s national network development strategic plan.

Key duties will include: -

Requirements:
1. Identify sites with good potential and anticipated profitability for acquisition.
2. Prospect for sustainable existing independent/competitor stations for expansion and branding.
3. Lead site acquisition, lease negotiations and regulatory approvals.
4. Develop and maintain a retail expansion master plan for network growth.
5. Carry out preliminary surveys and evaluate the potential of identified sites.
6. Develop and operate a land and property management plan and coordinate site negotiations.
7. Negotiate with landowner and service station owners on acquisition, leasing, branding and supply arrangements.
8. Manage retail brand assets.
9. Maintain a general database of all owned sites and land rights and ensure timely payment.
10. Prospect and maintain a land banks registry for future development.
