Our client, CM ADVOCATES LLP aspires to be the premier legal and business advisory firm in Kenya and within the East Africa Community (EAC), by providing its customers with a one-stop-shop for their legal and business advisory needs and a world-class customer experience.
They are seeking to fill the following position:
ASSOCIATE, CORPORATE COMMERCIAL
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Minimum of a 2nd class upper Bachelors of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university.
• Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practicing certificate.
• Have at least 2 years post admission experience in a busy law firm.
• Experience in drafting, review and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience in Company Law, Mergers & Acquisitions and Not-for-profits.
• Have knowledge and practical experience in Data Protection, Cybersecurity, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), and Fintech.
• Excellent research skills and drafting of legal documents.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
