Job Ad - Receptionist (Nakuru)

Position: Hotel Receptionist
Location: Nakuru, Kenya
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team in Nakuru. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a hotel environment and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries.
- Maintain accurate guest records and process reservations.
- Liaise with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle cash, billing, and payment transactions.
- Provide information on hotel services and local attractions.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Receptionist in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Front Office, or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate (MS Office, hotel reservation systems is an added advantage).
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and provide excellent customer service.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili required.
