MARINE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced MARINE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensuring that all activities he is responsible for, or involved in, are performed with the highest level of consideration in the Project Quality Policy and management system
- Ensuring that all Logistics activities linked to Marine operations are performed with regard to Project Ethics, Human Rights and “code of conduct” policies and personally demonstrating an exemplary behavior
- Assessing the impact of the tanker operations and vessels movement in Tanga bay on the general traffic and fishing activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 10 years Oil and Gas Industry Experience, at least 5 years of which should have been gained in vessel berthing on tethere jetty and vessel loading operations in similar ports including all C/P claims and constraints understanding
- Master Mariner, STCW 1/2 Class 1 Deck (Unlimited), Chief Officer
- Certificate of Competency (Desirable)
- Valid offshore survival or training required for boarding a seagoing vessel.
- Experience in port equipment and vessel contract management
