PROJECT SUPERVISOR
General Purpose
Our client, who specializes in the production of high-quality wood products, including doors, floors, kitchens, wardrobes, and other related products, is looking to hire a Project Supervisor to assist in overseeing day-to-day site operations from planning to installation, ensuring smooth coordination between site and office teams.
Location: Nairobi | Salary: Ksh. 50,000 (gross)
Duties & Responsibilities
• Supervise day-to-day operations on wood-related project sites (e.g., construction, furniture production, timber framing, installations).
• Coordinate and lead carpenters, joiners, and labourers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to guide work activities.
• Ensure materials (e.g., timber, plywood, hardware) are available, ordered, and used efficiently.
• Monitor project progress and report updates to the Project Manager.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry codes.
• Resolve on-site issues related to tools, materials, personnel, or plans.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality and design requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, including logs, reports, and schedules.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in site/project supervision, preferably in interior fit-out, Manufacturing, or installation of wood products (e.g., cabinetry, millwork, furniture).
• Familiarity with residential or commercial interior projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and email communication.
• Detail-oriented and proactive with team leadership capabilities.
