About the Role:

We are looking for a User Experience Researcher (UXR) to join our growing Product & UX Research team. You will play a critical role in uncovering user needs, analyzing behavior, and providing insights that drive the development of innovative mobile products tailored to our diverse user base. Your research will help shape the design and usability of Transsion’s smartphones, software, and services to ensure seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in planning and executing qualitative and quantitative UX research studies to understand user behavior, needs, and pain points.
● Conduct usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies to gather actionable insights.
● Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to integrate user insights into the development process.
● Analyze research data to generate reports and recommendations for product improvements.
● Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to UX strategy at TECNO Mobile.
● Assist in creating personas, journey maps, and reports based on research findings.
● Keep up with industry trends, competitive analysis, and emerging UX research methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, Anthropology, or a related field.
● Experience: At least 2 years of experience in UX research, human-centered design, or a similar field.
● Research Skills: Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
● Tools: Proficiency in UX research tools such as User Testing, Hotjar, Optimal Workshop, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
● Communications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders effectively.
● Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and product managers.
● Problem-Solving: Ability to turn complex data into actionable recommendations.
