JOB OPPORTUNITY: FARM TOUR GUIDE – KENYA VINEYARDS LTD (Kabati Farm, Thika)
Salary: Ksh. 30,000–40,000
Kenya Vineyards Ltd is hiring! We operate the historic 100-acre Kabati Farm, home of the renowned Guka’s Coffee and a leader in regenerative agriculture. With coffee estates, avocado orchards, livestock units, and vibrant agritourism activities, our farm offers authentic, educational, and immersive experiences for visitors.
We are seeking a Farm Tour Guide who is passionate about people, agriculture, and storytelling. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional visitor experiences, lead engaging tours, promote farm safety, and represent our brand with professionalism and warmth.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
• Lead informative coffee, avocado, livestock, and regenerative agriculture tours
• Provide excellent guest engagement and customer care
• Prioritise visitor safety and adherence to protocols
• Coordinate bookings, schedules, and farm tour activities
• Support events, media visits, and brand storytelling
• Maintain visitor records and ensure tour routes remain tidy and safe
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma in Tourism, Tour Guiding, or related field
• 3–5 years’ experience in tour guiding or visitor engagement roles
• Experience in farm or nature tours is a strong advantage
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and hospitality skills
• Physically fit and passionate about agriculture and sustainability
