VACANCIES

South Nyanza Sugar Company 2025 Limited plans to recruit suitably qualified and dedicated Kenyan citizens of high integrity to enhance its human capital base in various positions on Contract Terms for a period of 6 weeks during Annual Plant Maintenance (APM), as from 25th November 2025.

FITTERS
Minimum Requirements
Government Trade Test (GTT III) in Mechanical Engineering - General Fitting. Must have hands-on experience of at least three (3) years from a busy manufacturing set up. Should be able to trouble shoot mechanical problems.

WELDERS
Minimum Requirements
Government Trade Test (GTT III) in Electric Arc Welding. Must have hands-on experience of at least three (3) years from a busy manufacturing set up. Should be able to identify different types of materials and electrodes.

PIPE FITTERS
Minimum Requirements
Government Trade Test (GTT III) in Mechanical Engineering - General Fitting. Must have hands-on experience of at least three (3) years from a busy manufacturing set up. Should be able to trouble shoot mechanical problems.

FABRICATORS
Minimum Requirements
Government Trade Test (GTT III) in Mechanical Engineering - Fabrication. Three (3) years experience from a busy manufacturing set up. Should be able to interpret technical drawings.

HOISTERS
Minimum Requirements
Government Trade Test (GTT III) in Mechanical Engineering - Rigging/Hoisting. Must have hands-on experience of at least three (3) years from a busy manufacturing set up. Should be able to identify hoisting equipment and loads.
