Job Specifications
Responsible for carrying out efficient operations of Harbour Pilot in line with the provisions of International Safety Management (ISM) code, applicable International Maritime Conventions, National Legislation.
A. Seaman (tug mate)
- Undertake timely and efficient provision of harbour crafts services as set in individual performance target.
- Undertake bunkering operations for Harbour crafts and ensure bunkering procedures are adhered to.
- Execute maintenance plans and schedules for Harbour craft in line with Marine Engineering department.
B. Coxswain In Craft
- Undertake timely and efficient provision of Harbour Pilot/mooring boats services as set in individual performance target.
- Undertake bunkering operations for Harbour Pilot/mooring boats and ensure bunkering procedures are adhered to.
- Execute maintenance plans and schedules for Harbour craft in line with Marine Engineering department.
C. Mooring Assistant
- Supervision of mooring gang to avoid marine delays and accidents/incidents in line with the provisions of Safety Management system and set performance targets.
- Supervise mooring gang with an aim of enhancing safety and avoidance of marine delays in line with the Occupational Safety Management System (OSMS) Code and set performance targets.
- Coordinate safe transfer of mooring and pilot boats in line with Marine Engineering department.
Person Specifications
- CSE certificate or its equivalent.
- (three (3) Years’ experience as Sailor I or in relevant field.
- STCW 95 mandatory certificates Coswain certificate.
- Full the requirements of chapter 6 of the Constitution.

LABORATORY TECHNICLOGIST

Job Specification
- Use proper handling of laboratory records to keep confidentiality of data as the need requirements.
- Execute the Pre-Analytical, Analytical and Post analytical processes of the laboratory investigations and related duties.
- IX ppm’s document and put results on SAP or hard copy.
- Execute work report and reports on Iron Body Lab.
- Participates in internal and external Quality Control (QC) activities.
- Sterile gloves / equipment/specialist bottles and other apparatus for microbiological use.
- Prepared tissue laboratory reagents and culture media for the dilution of organism.
- Execute safety precautions and ensure the safety in the process for specimen collection and conditions.
- Monitor the performance of specimens in the laboratory work.
- Executes luminous enforcement of occupational health safety and environment policies at workplace.
- Sterile specimen bottles and other apparatus for microbiological use.
- Participate in proper disposal of biological waste.
- Working in proper disposal of waste.
- Work in the laboratory, and contribute to the IT and maintenance of IT systems in order to create a safe working environment.
