Job Title: *Finance Operations Coordinator*
*Salary: KES 75,000 – 90,000*
*About the Role*
*Key Responsibilities*
1. *Financial Operations & Reporting*
• Handle daily financial entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Reconcile bank transactions, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and petty cash.
• Assist with internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collection
• Prepare monthly financial reports, account schedules, and management statements.
• Ensure timely invoicing, follow-up on customer payments, and process supplier bills.
• Support tax compliance processes including preparation of VAT, WHT, and related statutory returns.
• Maintain and update schedules for fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
• Participate in strengthening internal financial procedures and controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting.

2. *Procurement & Logistics Coordination*
• Prepare purchase documentation, track orders, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Support the end-to-end imports/exports process (permits, clearance, regulatory documentation, etc.).
• Work closely with clearing agents and regulatory bodies to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Assist in planning procurement needs and maintaining proper stock levels.
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly stock counts and ensure accurate reconciliation with system data.
3. Operations Support
• Ensure accurate filing and documentation for both finance and operations activities.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient workflow across departments.
*Qualifications*
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
• CPA Section 4 and above (CPA(K) is an advantage).
• 4–5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or operational coordination.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred or Tally).
• Knowledge of procurement, supply chain, imports, or exports is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, high integrity, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
