Finance Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE
To provide a professional Finance Service in a legal and efficient manner in our Mombasa office.
Manage all statutory accounting processes in scope, ensuring compliance with the company's guidelines and official tax and accounting regulations. Be an active participant in the continuous improvement of the finance department’s daily functions and procedures.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Account Receivables- Invoicing, Credit Control and Dispute Handling.
• Accounts Payable- Receiving and cross checking, booking invoices, authorization before bookings, making payments and records filing.
• To ensure timely, reporting and manage accurate accounting records within company guidelines and local tax regulations.
• Manage monthly end close, in accordance with ONE financial timetable.
• Supporting timely year end audit.
• Taxation and compliance.
• Supporting budgeting process.
• In charge of the Accounts payable and intercompany activities
• Supporting, maintaining, and updating the documentation of accounting working procedures in accordance with ONE policy
• Improve existing procedures, guidelines, and setup new tools to develop new approaches that help Finance to increase the efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
• Conversant with tax laws, regulations, and compliance.
• Pro-actively be in contact with external parties such as Tax authorities and legal/tax advisors to ensure complianciy with local rules and legislation.
• In addition to the major responsibilities detailed in this job description, the job holder will carry out any other duties or projects that are assigned by the company.
• There will be a requirement to be flexible on hours of work in accordance with operational business needs, this will also be required to assist the department to meet its KPI.
