Our client in the hospitality industry seeks to recruit for a cashier.

QUALIFICATION
• CPA II (Part 2) qualification is mandatory
• At least 1 year of experience as a cashier in a hotel or restaurant setting
• Strong knowledge of point-of-sale systems (e.g., SAPAAD)
• Excellent Numeracy and Reconciliation skills
• Strong integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Accurately process customer payments (cash, card, and mobile money)
• Ensure accurate billing & posting through the POS system (e.g., SAPAAD)
• Cross-check guest orders and corresponding bills before processing payments
• Issue receipts and maintain proper transaction records
• Manage Float and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Generate daily cash summaries and handover reports
• Report any discrepancies or billing issues to the F&B Supervisor
• Liaise with service staff to ensure smooth billing operations
• Maintain clean and organized cashier station
• Enforce internal cash handling policies and controls
