P.C.E.A. BOLETE GIRLS’ SCHOOL KARAWA SIKARI is an approved Christian-based boarding institution for learning located in Karawa, Sikaru East. Karawa City. Job Purpose

Actively encouraged and facilitated the assignment of each student’s academic, behavioral, social, emotional, spiritual skills, capabilities and talents through quality education, mentorship and assessment.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Teach students and ensure they use platforms, programmes, records, assessments and reporting meet standards’ vying.
- Learning and social needs.
- Prepare all professional teaching documents and continuously update them.
- Create a stimulating and conducive, keen appreciation and organizational discipline and general teaching and lesson plans.
- Be able to set clear targets based on prior assessments for students’ learning.
- Ensure success is appropriately measured by well set.
- Maintain proper discipline, attendance and punctuality in studies.
- Communicate positive attitudes and professional interaction with pupils, parents, colleagues and other staff.
- Demonstrate innovative teaching techniques to enhance learners’ overall efficiency.
- Be responsive to students' needs of current and academic standards.
- Implement ongoing social policies and procedures to communicate with the Principal.
- Show a keen interest in daily and full teaching, learners on daily and repeat work while progress about and focus on improvements.
- Support schools, students and above extracurricular activities to the fullest and uphold good standards.
- Contribute to extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, sports, games and the student environment.
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned to the principal or supervisor.

Minimum requirements

- Bachelor of Education degree (secondary diploma) or Diploma in Education in relevant subject combinations from a recognized institution.
- Post-graduate diploma in Education from a recognized institute where necessary.
- KCSE and above and KCPE in their subjects of specialization.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in the learning area applied for.
- Enthusiasm of C.R.E. teaching
- A committed Christian with a recommendation letter from their church pastor
- Computer literacy and ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
- Valid ICT registration.
- A certificate of Good Conduct.
- Clear communication skills.
- Proficiency in writing and client-matching skills.
