TEACHING JOB AT PCEA BOOTE GIRLS' SECONDARY SCHOOL, KARAWA SIKAR
REQUIREMENTS: 
P.E.C.E. or C.S.E. or equivalent. or should have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience. Having relevant teaching experience is an added advantage.
Located in Karawa Sikiria area, Karawa Sikiria. The school is located in a rural area and will prefer a candidate with previous teaching experience. We are dedicated to nurturing future leaders through holistic education.

Job Purpose
Active engagement and formation of the pupil/ student to become a disciplined, focused character, impart skills, capabilities and attitudes to ensure high quality education, mentorship and environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Teach students and ensure they learn, prepare, evaluate, record, document, and report on students’ learning, progress and social needs.
• Prepare all instructional teaching materials and constantly update them.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive, safe, welcoming and organized classroom and general learning environment.
• Be able to set clear targets based on prior assessment for students’ learning.
• Ensure tasks are completed within set deadlines i.e., by Week.
• Maintain proper discipline, orderliness and professionalism with students, parents, colleagues and other staff.
• Ensure learning and assessment are fair and consistent.
• Encourage innovative teaching in lessons to enhance learners’ student’s delivery.
• The inclusive the student’s mastery of content and concepts in the subject area.
• Improve and develop policies and procedures to be in line with the school’s overall plan.
• Keep an eye on the day-to-day and week-to-week work, progress made, their feedback and how to improve.
• Support schools and student co-curricular activities to achieve set targets and strengthen social and emotional wellness in students, parents and the school administration.
• Coordinate school and co-curricular activities to ensure activities are completed as planned.
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the principal or supervisor.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor of Education degree (secondary or diploma or diploma in Education in relevant subject combinations from a recognized institution.
• Post-graduate diploma in Education from a recognized institution where necessary.
• A C.P.E. or C.S.E or equivalent in the subjects of specialization.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in the Learning area applied for.
• Evidence of CMS coaching.
• A committed Christian with a recommendation letter from their church clergy.
• Computer literacy and ability to integrate teaching into teaching and learning.
• Valid TSC registration.
• A certificate of Good Conduct.
• Clear communication skills.
• Proficiency in oral and drafting/making skills.
