ASSISTANT CHEF
The Assistant Chef will support the Head Chef in meal preparation, execution, and kitchen management.
Duty Station: Veteran Mission Hospital Application Deadline: 24th November 2025
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
. Assist the Head Chef in daily meal preparation and plating.
. Prepare special diet meals under supervision.
. Ensure food quality and consistency for all patients.
. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment and workstations.
. Assist in inventory management and stock monitoring.
. Support the Head Chef in supervising waiting staff and trainees.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
. Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant experience.
. Minimum 2 years of experience in professional kitchens.
. Knowledge of basic nutrition and hospital dietary requirements.
. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work in a team.
