Our client in the hospitality industry seeks to recruit for a cashier.

QUALIFICATION
- CPA II (Part 2) qualification is mandatory
- At least 1 year of experience as a cashier in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of point-of-sale systems (e.g., SAPAAD)
- Excellent Numeracy and Reconciliation skills
- Strong integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Accurately process customer payments (cash, card, and mobile money)
- Ensure accurate billing & posting through the POS system (e.g., SAPAAD)
- Cross-check guest orders and corresponding bills before processing payments
- Issue receipts and maintain proper transaction records
- Manage Float and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Generate daily cash summaries and handover reports
- Report any discrepancies or billing issues to the F&B Supervisor
- Liaise with service staff to ensure smooth billing operations
- Maintain clean and organized cashier station
- Enforce internal cash handling policies and controls
