They looking for a Project Assistant to support administrative, logistical, and coordination tasks for the CASCADE consortium, a program transforming food systems and nutrition across Africa.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 CASCADE

The CAtalyzing Strengthened policy aCtion for heAlthy Diets and resiliencE (CASCADE) program works to improve food security and reduce malnutrition for 5 million people, focusing on women of reproductive age and children in Benin, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Uganda.

Through an advocacy-driven approach, CASCADE:
✅ Increases access to and consumption of healthy diets
✅ Strengthens household resilience to economic and climate-related shocks

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀, 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴.

CASCADE is a 4.5-year program, now in its third year, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and led by CARE Netherlands, in partnership with CARE USA, Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and local partners.
