PAEDIATRICIAN

General Purpose
Our client is seeking a qualified and dedicated Paediatrician to join their clinical team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations for infants, children, and adolescents.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic paediatric illnesses.
- Provide preventive healthcare, including vaccinations, developmental assessments, and growth monitoring.
- Manage paediatric emergencies and perform life-saving interventions when needed.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Counsel parents/guardians on nutrition, hygiene, behavioural issues, and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex paediatric cases.
- Maintain detailed medical records in line with clinical and legal standards.
- Participate in ward rounds, morbidity and mortality meetings, and quality improvement activities.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to junior medical staff and interns.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid KMPDC Specialist Recognition License in Paediatrics (mandatory).
- Minimum 2–3 years post-specialization experience.
- Strong clinical decision-making, diagnostic capability, and paediatric emergency skills.
- Excellent communication and ability to handle sensitive family dynamics.
- Experience in neonatal care is an added advantage.
