**Technical Officer**

We Are

Location: Syokimau, Nairobi
Salary: KES 30,000 – 40,000
Experience Required: 5+ years

**Duties & Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and support daily site operations to ensure construction activities run smoothly
- Conduct technical inspections on-site to ensure work meets engineering standards and project specifications
- Assist in interpreting construction drawings, technical plans, and bill of quantities (BOQs)
- Monitor material usage, quality, and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Inspect tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
- Prepare technical reports, daily site records, and progress updates for management
- Identify site issues, safety risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Support project engineers in planning, budgeting, and scheduling construction phases

**Requirements:**
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Building & Construction, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction site operations, supervision, or technical support
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination skills with site teams
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and manage field activities under minimal supervision
