Role Description
Marketing Team Lead – Nairobi
Outrival HR Solutions & Consultancies Ltd is recruiting for the position of Marketing Team Lead on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading international volunteer travel organization committed to improving the lives of African children through sustainable community development projects. The Marketing Team Lead will be responsible for providing line management to the Marketing Assistants while ensuring the effective delivery of data and the RYI process. The ideal candidate will be required to work in seamless collaboration with local teams, including Marketing Assistants, the Office Manager, and the Programme Manager, as well as with international colleagues such as the UK Marketing Manager, Partnerships Managers, and the Administration Officer, to deliver a cohesive, high-performing marketing function.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide full line management to Marketing Assistants, including recruitment, performance monitoring, attendance, disciplinary, welfare, and personal development.
• Oversee the data collection process, including management of the data collection spreadsheet, setting up counties to be collected, and reviewing the inboxes.
• Managing the set data collection targets and reviewing performance.
• Set and lead the data quality assurance process of the Marketing team.
• Oversee the RYI process, including the creation of trip pages, email/text reminders, and attending the weekly RYI meeting.
• Serve as first-line support for all Marketing Assistants, ensuring effective problem resolution and promoting team wellbeing and productivity.
• Conduct data collection and Trip Page tasks when required to maintain team competence and support cross-functional continuity.
• Liaise with the local Office Manager concerning all matters for Office facilities and shared space/joint ways of working.
• Oversee the tasking, management, and team performance of the image library and Trip page tasks.
• Oversee the data cleansing process of the Marketing Assistants.
• Produce system and performance reports for the entire team.
• Work in collaboration with the UK Marketing Manager to support marketing plans and strategy implementation.
• Any other ad hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in people management with a proven ability to drive team output in a corporate environment.
• Extensive experience in Marketing, preferably within a charity or NGO context.
• Experience of working for an international global organization, to foreign standards and ways of working, and being remotely line managed is desirable.
• Experience in data management

Salary: Ksh. 65,000 – Ksh. 75,000 Monthly
