RE: VACANT POSITION (1 POST) - MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANIC
Githambo Tea Factory Co. Ltd is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to fill the following vacant position.

MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANIC
Reporting to the Field Services Co-Ordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supervising mobile vehicles maintenance staff
- Fitting new parts in motor vehicles and equipment as required
- Carrying out inspection and repairs of motor vehicles
- Overhauling of motor vehicle components as per the required standards
- Attending to breakdown of Company vehicles
- Keeping repair costs and analysis as required
- Ensuring safe custody of spares, tools and equipment assigned
- Initiating purchases of motor vehicle spare parts required for repairs
- Checking and complying with environmental, health and safety measures and regulations
- Performing any other duty as may be assigned

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- KCSE main grade C (C Plain) or equivalent
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering or Craft III in Automotive Engineering from a recognized institution
- Be Computer Literate
- Relevant Work experience of not less than five (5) years
- Aged between 27 and 40 years
