**VACANCY RE-ADVERTISEMENT**

Pursuant to the provisions of section 58A [5] of the County Governments Act, the Government of Makueni County wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the positions there [3] Members of Makueni County Public Service Board.

**1. TERMS OF SERVICE**
a. Non-renewable term of six [6] years
b. Remuneration and benefits will be as set out by the salaries and remuneration commission.

**2. MEMBER- MAKUENI COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD**
Requirement for appointment
a. Be a Kenyan citizen
b. Satisfies the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution
c. Possesses a minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree from a recognized university
d. Has a working experience of not less than five [5] years;
e. Be a professional who demonstrates absence of breach of the relevant professional code of conduct
f. Demonstrates sound understanding of national and County Government goals, policies and developmental objectives including values and principals of governance
g. Has through knowledge of the structural, legislative and regulatory framework of public service

**3. Application guidelines**
a. Each application should include a detailed curriculum vitae, certified copies of relevant academic and professional certificates, testimonials, copies of identity card or passport, current telephone number and any other relevant documents.
b. Interested candidates are required to submit valid and current clearance documentation from the following bodies.
i. Kenya Revenue Authority;
ii. Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission;
iii. Higher Education Loans Board;
iv. Credit Reference Bureau;
v. Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Police Clearance Certificate);
