Hardware Intern - IT

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure availability and reliability of the Hardware, CCTV, printers & UPS system within HQ, company/branches
• Support operations of all companies, Community Network/Internet, and connectivity from company to the branches.
• Provide end user support, check hardware, wiring, and computer hardware, software and network problems.
• Corrective and preventive maintenance on workstations and other IT equipment.
• Desktop hardware upgrade and repair, and participation in new store projects/asset ownership.
• Maintains an inventory of L.L. equipment under one's jurisdiction.
• Network support in the ferns of installation and customization of network equipment.
• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common Printer & cabling problems.
• Provide regular reports on various key aspects of applications, network & system availability.
• Provide scheduled or unplanned maintenance plans for computers, peripherals & printers and provide Hardware support of cabling on day-to-day administration.
• Troubleshoot Cabling issues and provide regular reports & statistics of branch requirements/issues.
• Ensure that all call/incidents logged into Helpdesk are addressed within agreed on SLA response time.
• To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the head of department.

QUALIFICATIONS
• B.Sc./Diploma in Electronics/Computer Science or other Computer related field from a recognized University
• Passion A+, N+ OR MCT/MCTIP certification
• Hardware and Software troubleshooting skills.
