Hardware Intern - IT

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure availability and reliability of the Hardware, CCTV, printers & UPS systems within HQ, missionary/branches
• Support operations of all company Systems, Community Networks/Internet, and connectivity from community to the branches.
• Provide end user support, which involves solving, out of scope hardware, software and network problems.
• Corrective and preventive maintenance on workstations and other IT equipment.
• Desktop hardware upgrade, software updating and participation in new store projects/asset moves.
• Maintain an inventory of I.T. equipment under one’s jurisdiction.
• Network support in the design of installation and configurations of network equipment.
• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common Printer & cabling problems
• Provide regular reports on various key aspects of applications, network & system availability.
• Provide scheduled maintenance parameters for computers, peripherals & printers and provide Hardware support of cabling on day-to-day administration.
• Troubleshoot Cabling issues and provide regular reports & statistics of branch requirements/issues.
• Ensure that all call/incidents logged into Helpdesk are addressed within agreed on SLA response time.
• To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the head of department.

QUALIFICATIONS
• B.Sc/Diploma in Electronics/Computer Science or other Computer related field from a recognized University
• Passes A+, N+ OR MCT/ACT/IT certification
• Hardware and Software troubleshooting skill.
