Hardware Intern - IT

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure availability and reliability of the Hardware, CCTV, printers & UPS system within HQ, communication/branches
- Support operations of all company systems, Communication Network/internet, and connectivity from consumer to the branches.
- Provide end user support, check hardware wiring, crimp cable, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems.
- Corrective and preventive maintenance on workstations and other IT equipment.
- Desktop upgrade upgrade software planning and participation in new store projects/asset moves.
- Maintenance of inventory of I.T. equipment under one's jurisdiction.
- Network support in the form of installation and customization of network equipment.
- Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common Printer & cabling problems.
- Provide regular reports on various key aspects of applications, network & system availability.
- Provide scheduled maintenance for hardware, cables, and printers, and provide Hardware support of cabling on day-to-day administration.
- Troubleshoot Caching issues and provide regular reports & statistics of branch requirements/issues.
- Ensure that all call/incidents logged into Helpdesk are addressed within agreed on SLA response time.
- To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the head of department.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.Sc/Diploma in Electronics/ Computer Science or other Computer related field from a recognized University
- Possess A+, N+, or MCT/MCTIP certification
- Hardware and Software troubleshooting skills.
