Welder/ Fabricator at Simba Corp

- Key Responsibilities:

Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a welding procedure specification.
Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
Follow, create and help maintain welding and fabricating procedures specifications.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Follow all company rules and policies.
Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
Fabrications of equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings.
Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

- Qualifications and Experience

Academic Qualifications

At least a diploma or Trade test Grade 1 qualification in mechanical Welding and fabrication or their equivalent.

- Experience

At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in welding, fitting, lubrication and fabrication.

- Skills

Ability to work independently but also enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment.
Self-driven and keen to follow instructions.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability and readiness to work under pressure.
