CAFETERIA SUPERVISOR
OVERVIEW
Spez Catering Limited is seeking an experienced Cafeteria Supervisor to manage day-to-day cafeteria operations and ensure a clean, efficient, and customer-friendly dining environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar or related supervisory role and a certificate in Food and Beverage Management or Service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily cafeteria operations, including food preparation, service, and customer satisfaction
- Supervise and support kitchen and service staff, ensuring teamwork and smooth coordination across shifts
- Enforce hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and control waste to maintain cost efficiency
- Check food presentation, portion control, and temperature consistency before service
- Assist with menu planning and daily specials in coordination with the chef or catering manager
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Prepare daily reports on sales, attendance, and inventory usage
- Train new staff and ensure adherence to company policies and service standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a cafeteria, restaurant, or catering service
- Certificate in Food and Beverage or a related qualification
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and handling standards (HACCP preferred)
- Ability to multitask and work flexible hours when required
